How to Volunteer

This year’s signature site is the Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA), where volunteer activities will take place between 9:30am and 1pm (see more details below).

​There are also many community organizations in need of your help that can be found on the registration site. 

​Below are just a few examples of projects taking place at CCA during the Day of Service:

• Assembling Boo Boo kits for local children in need
• Writing cards and notes of encouragement for military personnel 
• Assembling domestic violence survivor baskets 
• Learning about cultures from around the world at the cultural tables
• Talking with local experts about the importance of education and prevention of bullying within school settings
• Donating blood to the Central PA Blood Bank
