Meet The Team
Patty KimA former news anchor and reporter and Harrisburg City Councilwoman, Patty was first elected to the state House of Representatives in 2012 and has been a leader in government reform and transparency. Kim is a dedicated member of the MLK Day of Volunteering committee, and also serves on the Appropriations, Education, Local Government, Transportation and Urban Affairs committees. She is Vice Co-Chair of the Southeast Delegation. During her second term, she served as Treasurer for the Legislative Black Caucus.

Marisa TokarskyMarisa hails from Windber, a small town in Western PA, and works for Deloitte Consulting. When not at work and cheering for the “black and gold,” Marisa spends her time supporting a few local non-profit organizations including United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Central PA, United Way of the Capitol Region, Junior Achievement, and the Capital Region Civic Club. She joined the MLK Day of Service Planning Committee to help provide opportunities for individuals of all ages to give back and support the community in which they live and work.

Eileen JacobsA native of England who came to the US in November 1985, Eileen is a committed volunteer in the community. As a member of the MLK Day board, she plans and develops volunteer projects and helps to create new partnerships for the Day of Service.
